Somehow, before we even really started, Kut died and got Ethierian killed, too. Our Kut is talented, folks. And Fog, he's not a dumbass. He's a boob. It's not easy to get 25 or so people in one shot together. Fodder, Logdarian and Fog up in front, with Molten Giants just over the rise. The initial pull went badly, but Fog stepped in and the second time we did much better. See? One down! We killed the other, too, and check out what dropped! Grats to Jaymie on his new epic bracers! And after the Molten Giants came the Firelord. And its spawns. Which we call "babies". And, you know, we got swarmed by the babies. These little guys are what we're referring to in the future when we say "KILL THE BABIES!". Just so you know. More death! Welcome to endgame, kids. The carnage is really quite impressive, actually. More carnage! Alas, I forget what Lesson Two from Fog is, although I suspect it's something like "DPS the babies down AS SOON AS THEY SPAWN." We did eventually get the hang of these guys. Not that you would know it from this shot... Two more giants after successfully killing the Firelord. These guys? We can take 'em, no problem. All of us piled up close to get a Lava Annihilator. This is us after killing a Firelord and a Lava Annihilator, back to back. Note: Firelords and Lava Spawns are NOT BANISHABLE. Lava Annihilators, however, are. WE ARE ACROSS THE FIRST BRIDGE. And this isn't even a full raid group. I don't think we numbered more than 25 all evening. Notice pretty much everyone right on top of the Annihilator. This is how to deal with them. You heard it here first, folks, Ieth's lungs drop epics! Another Annihilator. "Big Mac" time! (I am still unaware why Fodder and Log kept calling it this.) Lava Annihilator go BOOM. This... is a dead Core Hound. Looks a lot like The Beast from UBRS. Only meaner. And skinning him nets you Core Leather. We skinned 7 Core Hounds tonight and all 7 Core Leathers go to the guild bank for future fire resist gear crafting. As usual, Kut is dead. ;) Hey, it's our buddies the Molten Giants! No prob, right? Yeah, notice the dead Molten Giant to the left, they were not an issue. Two Core Hounds, on the other hand? Is a wipe. See? Bastards. Okay. Ready to try this again! And somehow, we get a Firelord when we're trying a Core Hound. Uh oh. Much death ensues. And more Firelords and their spawns. And more death. We reset the instance for a few more pulls, and took down the giants with ease. We wiped again shortly thereafter and called it a night.
